Q: What is Phi Theta Kappa?
A: Phi Theta Kappa is an International Honors Society for 2 year colleges. It is not a sorority or fraternity.

Q: What is Beta Delta Omega?
A: Beta Delta Omega is Phi Theta Kappa chapter that is active at both campuses of the Mount San Jacinto College.

Q: How can I join?
A: Click on "Application" to see our requirements and download the application form.

Q: Why does it cost $79 to join Phi Theta Kappa?
A: Of the $79, $45 is sent to International Headquarters, $5 goes to the Regional Headquarters and the rest is used to finance the Beta Delta Omega Chapter.

Q: Is there a connection between Phi Theta Kappa and Phi Beta Kappa?
A: Phi Theta Kappa is the Internation Honors Society of 2-year colleges while Phi Beta Kappa is the International Honors society of 4-year colleges.

Q: What is Nota Bene?
A: Nota Bene, Latin for "note well," is Phi Theta Kappa's honors anthology. It recognizes outstanding writing of Phi Theta Kappa members and demonstrates to the literary public the academic excellence and commitment to scholarship found at two-year colleges.

Q: Can I pay by credit card?
A: At this time it is not possible to pay by credit card but it might come availible in the future.

Q: Are there any special benefits for EOPS students?
A: Due to budget cuts, E.O.P.S. can no longer sponsor membership fees. In the event this changes we will post that information.

Q: Does the chapter provide the regalia for graduation?
A: No, regalia has to be ordered from the www.ptk.org website.
